The State of Wisconsin has passed legislation that completely took effect in March of 2014. Landlords have been provided certain rights unheard of in the past and those rights are incorporated into the new Wisconsin Statutes. I advise all Landlords to have their current leases reviewed by an attorney to make sure the Landlord is aware of the changes in the law and the expanded benefits now available by Statute. I have recently attended a seminar on the benefits provided to Landlords under the revised Wisconsin Statutes and am ready to review your leases and provide to you the new rights which come with properly drafted written leases.
